Excuse Me Ma’am

Pastor Who?

Have you noticed the ever-increasing number of ladies who call themselves by lofty titles reserved in the divine economy for men only? Have you been hearing things like “Pastor Mary,” “apostle Jane,” or “Prophetess Marquita,” etc. ….. Is this biblical?

“But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” 1 Timothy 2:12

Order Yours Now

Excuse me Mam, you cannot possibly be a pastor, apostle, prophet, evangelist, or teacher of men in the sense of the office given only to those who are “the HUSBAND of one wife” which is an utter impossibility for a female (1 Timothy 3:2). No angle of reasoning will justify this rebellion. This is a divinely-ordained role for men alone to fulfill and a non-negotiable, never-going-to-change truth. Anyone violating it will be judged (Revelation 2:20-23). Of Jezebel and all who allow, enable, and participate is such perversion, Jesus says He is going to “kill her children with death.” (Revelation 2:20-23) Anybody want to argue with the Son of God?

Even Jesus Christ, the very Alpha, Omega, and Almighty God “made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant.” (Philippians 2:7)

The callings listed in Scripture are places of humble serving as unto CHRIST and never to be used to elevate sinful self.

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: THATTTT God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11

First and foremost, the kingdom of God is all about KING Jesus, not us!

Excuse Me Ahab – Sir!

It’s easy to fall under the peer pressure today due to the fear of being accused of being a man who hates women and yet, one must choose whom He will fear and obey – God or mere men (Proverbs 29:25). Those who suffer or allow a woman to be in a place of leadership God never ordained her to be in are guilty before the LORD and will bring spiritual death upon those she seduces into spiritual fornication (Revelation 2:20-23).

Sir, if you are calling your wife a “pastor” a “co-pastor” or by whatever title, it’s time to repent. Women are the beloved creation of God and to be the “helpmeet” of their husband or daddy and the men around them – helping them fulfill the call of God on their lives. No woman is to ever “to usurp authority over the man.”

“But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” 1 Timothy 2:12-14

It’s time to repent and get aligned with the Word of God and cease perverting it for our own self-serving purpose!

Listen, two wrongs do not make a right! Increasingly we hear the voices of Jezebels and the Ahabs they have under their death grip crying “If men would just fulfill their calling, women wouldn’t have to step up and lead!” I say NONSENSE to this diabolical smokescreen! There is no case in the New Testament Scriptures where any woman is seen saying or doing such usurping.

Ladies, if you have been abused, join the club! If you have been abused by a man or men, go to the LORD Himself and repent of your own part if any in the matter and all your own sins and let Him heal you. In many cases the wounds you still have could be due to your spinning your wheels by condemning men when you should be repenting and seeking the LORD for His healing. His arm is not shorted but your sin of not seeking His face will stop you from receiving healing from His holy hand (Isaiah 59:1-3).

Has Satan Beguiled You?

Beware of the Jezebel Lure, Influence, and Mindset

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:1-2

The insidious voice of temptation is calling you to cast off the personal responsibility the LORD made you with. Jesus commanded each of us to “Take heed to yourselves …” (Luke 21:34-36)

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28

There is only one Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus is to ALL – men, women, and children. The same command to repent and die to self is to women as it is to men and children. We shall all give account to the LORD individually and should prepare ourselves accordingly. The problem is not abusive men or controlling women – the source of our problems is rooted in our own sin and refusal to die to self, deny self, take up the cross and follow Christ as He clearly and repeatedly prescribed.

“And he said to them AL, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” Luke 9:23-24

Beloved, the LORD is calling you to beware and to cease to listen to the devilish spirit of this age that wants to keep you blaming others (men) and therefore not take personal responsibility for obeying Jesus’ command for YOU to repent, deny self – die to self – and to follow Him (Luke 9:23-24).

“Ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3

Warning: There are limitless voices in this last hour calling women to worship at the altar of self-pity and focus on themselves instead of Jesus who is to be the priority or very “FIRST love” of every true disciple (Rev. 2:4-5). The voice of the enemy cries out on every corner, beckoning female disciples of Christ to blame the man and nurse their “wounds” as they play the blame game and release themselves from personal responsibility. But the Bible says we are all personally responsible and being held accountable. King David knew this and cried out for God to search, cleanse, and change his own heart and life (Psalms 51: 139:23-24; Matthew 7:1-6; 1 Corinthians 11:32-33; 2 Corinthians 13:5). David didn’t shift the blame on others in order to gain temporary relief from his own guilt. No, instead he declared For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.” (Psalms 38:18)

This man after the LORD’s heart also said “O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.” (Psalms 69:5)

Joyce Meyer is one of the many voices who are beguiling millions upon millions of women who believe they are following Christ. Listen to Joyce Meyer twist the clear meaning of Scripture:

The blame game started in the Garden. Adam blamed God, ‘The woman you gave me.’ You know what? Adam was the head of the house, if he was standing there why didn’t he say something? Why didn’t he say something? Why didn’t he do something? I’m not taking that rap anymore! You know the Bible doesn’t even necessarily say that God told Eve not to eat of that tree. He told Adam. Maybe Adam didn’t tell Eve, I don’t know.” (Joyce Meyer, Mind, Mouth, Moods, and Attitudes, tape- the Attitudes, tape # 4)

Did you catch the twist? In saying that God didn’t command the woman not to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree, Joyce Meyer seems to exempt women from the need to obey God. Then she casts doubt and blame on the man – “He told Adam. Maybe Adam didn’t tell Eve, I don’t know.”

So, like so many voices today, Joyce Meyer clearly implies that men are to blame. By doing this, Meyer is teaching her female audiences here that women have no personal responsibility and are justified in placing all the blame on the men around them. This friends, is poisonous leaven.

Think about it for a moment: All of society – the sinful world system of thinking – celebrates and spends millions and millions of dollars upon the issues or supposed issues facing women and not a word is spoken nor nearly a penny spent on men. Why not? Where’s the equality? Why such bias? Be not deceived – This is the spirit of the devil – the spirit of Jezebel whom Christ has cast into a bed to see who will commit spiritual fornication with her. This is not biblical. There is no such bias given in Scripture nor modeled by the early church.

“There is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28

If this truth is bothering you, God will deliver you right now from the evil spirit that is upon your life. Repent, submit your whole heart, mind, and life to God, and then denounce all rebellion, witchcraft, stubbornness, and curses of Jezebel. Do all this through the grace and blood of Jesus Christ, crying out for the LORD to create in you a clean heart, to renew a right spirit within you, to break you to the core of your being, and that His will would be done and not yours. Surrender now!

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:8

Beware of the insidious operation of Jezebel which has infected us all in one way or the other. This evil, beguiling spirit works through individuals and leaders who pose as those who are seemingly innocently wanting to help you out by helping you to think correctly. But in that bait there is a hook. Fearing God and personally studying His Word is the only solution.

“And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.” Ecclesiastes 7:26

Your Identity As Christ’s Disciple

The seducing spirits Paul speaks of which bring forth “doctrines of devils” include seeing yourself as a victimized woman instead of a disciple of Jesus which is to be your identity around which everything else revolves (1 Cor. 2:2; Gal. 2:20; 6:14; 1 Tim. 4:1-3). Jesus says He is in this last hour casting Jezebel into a bed to see who will fornicate with her (Rev. 2:20-23). Do not dance with her precious saint! You are Christ’s! “Ye are DEAD and your life is HID with CHRIST in God.” (Col. 3:3) When we see ourselves as anything else but Jesus’ and His humble disciple, we deny Christ His place of Lordship and reigning in our lives and are idolaters who have others false gods before Him who bled and is to be our very “FIRST love.” (Rev. 2:4-5; Lk. 19:27).

“Ye are all One in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28

The Judgment seat will not be limited to men and children. No, every individual shall stand and give account of his/her life on this earth. If you are a woman in this life, you will stand before the Almighty to give account for your own life for which you are personally responsible.

“For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.” Romans 14:10

Excuses and blaming someone else or the other gender, will hold no water on that Great Day as we stand in trembling ruins before His divine Majesty. So, in light of this, may the fear of the LORD be deeply embedded in our hearts as we hasten toward the LORD in sincere, obedient worship.

Life is NOT all about You – but Rather Christ!

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist (are sustained). 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:16-18

Christ is “the Almighty” and the preeminent One, not us!

The Son of God says “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

The world doesn’t revolve around you! It’s time to humble ourselves before the LORD and get off our high horses friend!

Did you create all that is? Have you create so much as a particle of dust? Did you die on the cross for mankind? These distinctions belong to the divine, the Son of God (Colossians 1:14-19). He alone is worth our praise and worship!

Who do you glory in? Who gets the most attention in the affections, preparation, and actions of your personal life? Memorize Galatians 2:20, 6:14, Colossians 3:1-3 and 2 Corinthians 5:15. Read Romans 6 every morning for the next week, and obey God by dying to self. Learn the daily cross!

“Women Professing Godliness” Audio Series – A Timely Message to God’s Most Beautiful Creation

Order Your Copies Today

In these final days there are so many voices vying for the ears of the female populace – to teach them characteristics and ways unbecoming to the woman who truly fears the LORD. Satan has and is going all out because he knows that his time is short (Revelation 12:12). For girls this indoctrination begins at a very early age and the onslaught continues throughout her life. Regrettably, there are very few resources from the body of Christ which address and simply bring attention to what the Creator of women has to say about His purpose for women in this life.

This 10-part audio series addresses the original purpose and blessing of the female – the most beautiful of God’s creations. This audio series is a refreshing and resolute exploration and declaration of God-fearing womanhood that has and is transforming lives. It is presented in a warm and engaging fashion and being heard by men and women the world over.

In this series, Todd takes on and explores a subject few men dare to address, perhaps due to the fear of how this could be perceived. But Jesus and Paul cared for, visited with and spoke with women often (Luke 10:38-42; John 4:1-25; 8:1-12; Acts 16:14-15; Romans 16:1-16, etc.). The Word of God specifically addresses women often and greatly aggrandizes the blessed women who fear the LORD (Proverbs 31, etc.). By the responses below, you will see that these messages can refresh the soul. They seem to be blessing and transforming men and women all over the world and may edify your heart and life by establishing in your understanding the blessed and distinct purpose for God’s most beautiful creation – Woman!

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THIS SERIES:

I just finished listening to your audio on women who fear God. Amazing! How the devil keeps women in bondage to the lie that he tells us! So glad I listened again. This is so helpful and freeing. Keep standing your ground. God is in this mightily.” Carol B.

“This series was a real blessing. It was an excellent teaching. Honestly, it changed my life and my marriage. Now I realize many of the problems in my marriage were actually being caused by my not being fully submitted to God’s Word in this area. I have always sought to please the Lord, but we are unable to do that unless we are willing to deny ourselves and heed the full counsel of God’s Word and sound instruction. After completing this series on the family, Jezebel was broken in me! I wept for days in repentance and sorrow for my sin. I had a renewed sense of purpose and regained the joy of my calling to being a godly wife, a mother and a keeper of the home. Praise God!!!! Our mother’s sold us into the slavery of feminism and the lie of seeking self-esteem instead of the Savior and we as women who fear God are having to break free from these false gods of self. The Lord is able to deliver if we will simply humble ourselves, listen, and obey.” S.T.

“People don’t know what “shamefacedness” is anymore. I had to look it up, myself (in summa theologica). But it’s really based on fear of God; fear of disappointing Him by allowing immoral thoughts or deeds (or perhaps the perception of them, of being identified with them) in our lives. The ability to blush. An innocence of heart that wants no part with evil.” Jane Clark

“THANK  YOU  FOR  GETTING MY  CD’S  OUT  TO  ME.  I AM  LISTENING TO  THEM  OVER  AGAIN. I REALLY  CAN’T THANK  YOU  ENOUGH FOR THE “WOMEN  PROFESSING  GODLINESS” AUDIO SERIES.  GOD  IS  AN  ON  TIME  GOD. ALWAYS.”  YOUR  SISTER  IN  CHRIST  CAROL  B.

“Shamefacedness.  I have pondered this off and on over the years.  It’s amazing how we become older and jaded, and then we lose touch with what we’re supposed to be.  This word, shamefacedness, haunts me.  I can be a friendly, approachable person, and interact with both men and women. Lately, I have been convicted of talking too much.  Somehow in all these years of walking with the Lord, I have neglected to cultivate shamefacedness.  Honestly, my husband and I have been together for over 25 years.  When I married him, all men became crucified to me, and I became crucified to all men :)   I have no interest in other men.  However, I want to have this shamefacedness that the Lord speaks of, not only in interactions with men, but with females as well, because I don’t see a distinction in the Word, that it applies only to our interactions with males.

I too looked up the Greek word aidos.  It also means a feeling of reverence or shame which restrains men from wrong, or an innate moral repugnance to a dishonorable act.

I am looking forward to the rest of this study.  I believe I will be parting with a lot more of my flesh in the near future.  AMEN! God Bless,” Stefanie

I received my CD’s ‘Women Professing Godliness’ last week.  I am truly learning what is expected of Godly women according to the Scriptures.  All for the glory of God!!!  And how awesome it is to learn how a Christian woman should present herself towards God, her husband, her family, friends, and strangers.  More self-professing Christian women need to climb on board and tune in to God’s commands.  Thanks be to God working through you!  I thank you for the teachings.” Dar

“I am currently doing a woman’s Bible study using  ‘Women Professing Godliness.’” D.

“It was such a blessing to listen through – Very good study! Fresh inspiration and encouragement! It made me very happy to hear the truth of the Word and also God’s heart behind it being expressed! (Oh how that can drastically change the view when that is understood!) I also appreciated the balance of the message. It reveals the wicked woman’s ways. It causes God fearing men and women alike to tremble at the thought of ever being ensnared by the likes or ever becoming like her! To my joy and inspiration, you were very expressive of God’s heart about godly women also! How encouraging it was to hear the godly woman spoken of so lovingly and her nature and works so esteemed, making obvious that she was considered as equally valuable and loved. Yet, not changing her role to try to prove it.” Michelle M.

“This is a needed message and right on the mark. Listening was time very well spent. Thanks.” Chris S.

“It’s wonderful.” Gayle

“You have just freed me of my role in the woman’s place in the Church.” Carol B.

“Well said and very well laid out. Thanks for another awesome teaching on a much needed subject. Well done.” Marcus B.

“Very good teaching!!” Stephanie P.

The Praise and Characteristics of a Good Wife

Proverbs 31

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. 14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. 15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. 16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. 18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. 19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. 21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. 22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. 23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. 24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. 30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Proverbs 31:10-31 (KJV)

Created to be a Blessing

Distinct Roles

“And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis 2:18

Woman was taken out of man’s side which seems to signify that she is to be held close and affectionately by her husband as an “heir(s) together of the grace of life.” (1 Peter 3:7)

And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” Genesis 2:21-25

Why did God bother to create woman if He didn’t have a unique and special role for her in the family and in the church? She is “the weaker vessel” and to be cherished and protected from harm by her father, husband, and the godly men around her (1 Peter 3:1-7). As a wife she is the “heir together of the grace of life” with her husband (1 Peter 3:7)

“Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” 1 Peter 3:7

“Giving honour” to the women would include honoring the One who made her by honoring His role for her and protecting her from His holy judgment that comes upon all who do things their own way instead of His.

The ending statement here in this 1 Peter 3 passage, “that your prayers be not hindered,” seems to imply and indicate that when we do things according to God’s Word, there will be perpetual fellowship with Him and answered prayer.

Women Doing Ministry

“And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.” Acts 21:8-9

As we see in the above passage, Phillip had four daughters “which did prophesy,” so we know by this and other Scripture that God desires to use women in all nine of the gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11.

In the following verse we see that the apostle Paul assumes and cites that women do pray and prophesy in the local assemblies.

“But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.” 1 Corinthians 11:5

God has ordained that His women – those born again and presently walking with Jesus – are to be blessed to fellowship in His Word and used by Him to do many types of ministry, yet not lead His body (1 Timothy 2:9-14, etc.).

Can Women Teach and Evangelize?

Yes, as long as it isn’t in a usurpish or authoritative manner over men (1 Timothy 2:9-14).

What about Anna?

“And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;” Luke 2:36

When observing the full counsel of Scripture, taking it all into account, it should be obvious that the place of leadership is not spoken of here when speaking of Anna being a prophetess. A prophetess is speaking of her prophesying, which is a gift of the Spirit (1 Cor. 12:7-10) and not a leadership or elder gift which Jesus gave “to men” when He rose again (Ephesians 4:8-11).

“There is no doubt that God will use women in the ministry. He will use a woman as much as she is willing to die to self, deny self, and live for the Lord. And the woman that the Lord uses will not be about herself…she will be about her Lord.” Stephanie Pitts

Those Old Testament women were prophetesses not prophets. Prophetesses move in the gift of prophesy as any Holy Spirit filled believer can (1 Corinthians 12:7-10). Prophecy is a gift of the Holy Spirit whereas being a prophet is more like a leadership office in the body of Christ which is reserved for men (Ephesians 4:8-12). Prophet is one of the five gifts of JESUS whereas prophesying is one of the 9 gifts of the SPIRIT. Perhaps the FATHER gave the motive gifts listed in Romans 12:4-8.

No subject seems to bring Jezebel out of the wood works with a vengeance as does this one. That spirit does not want to be denied control. It’s all about control for the person possessed by a “spirit of antichrist” that denies the order of God in creation and in relation to His body of saints (1 John 4:1-3). For the true disciple, it’s all about realizing our own utter depravity and insufficiency and gladly trusting in the LORD’s full and complete holiness and the blessed sufficiency of His glorious grace. The true disciples of Christ have already relinquished control over to the LORD Himself, abandoning that role in denying self that Christ can reign supreme in their lives (Matthew 16:23-24; Luke 9:23-24; 22:42; John 12:24-25; 2 Corinthians 1:9; Galatians 2:20; 5:24). Any person who denies, despises, or crassly disregards God’s specific order in creation does not do this toward men but rather toward God Himself.

“He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 4:8

This topic of women in ministry brings fiery responses which demonstrates the epidemic of the jezebellion Jesus seemed to indicate would be rampant in the final days (Revelation 2:20-23).

It is utterly refreshing to see the work of the LORD in many precious sisters that the LORD is working in. The Father Himself and also every godly man would surely agree that there is nothing more attractive than a God fearing woman who walks in the exact role God made her to live out!
